Former boxing champ helps Phantoms club

Phantoms Kickboxing have issued a big thanks to Castleford’s former boxing champion Noel Wilders, from UK Gutter Maintenance, who has sponsored the club and one of its star fighters.

A donation of £500 will help buy more training equipment to help with the development of members while fighter Jack Thompson has been sponsored for £1,000 to help pay the costs of his competitions, travel costs and training, which will help take him up another level.

The £500 for the club will help provide more Focus Mitts, Power Pads, Conditioning Equipment and age appropriate equipment for the Lil’ Phantoms, the four to seven-year-olds, who train on Tuesday evenings at Lock Lane Community Centre.

Jack’s sponsorship is a massive recognition and reward for all of his hard work and success over the last two years when he has won British and European titles. Last year he won the Revolution Tournament Series and was named Grand Champion.
